I have been a member of the Premier Chapter since May of 2011. Membership of a group like BNI, and in particular Premier, serves a number of different purposes. As a small business it is important for my business partner and I to keep in regular contact with companies like us in the local area. The regularity of the meetings means that you have to be ‘on message’ and you’re given the freedom (nay required) to present your company, values and services in interesting and engaging ways.

My business partner and I are the ‘London Principal’s’ for a commercial foreign exchange company. We buy and sell currencies to corporates/businesses and individuals. Clapham has a strange mix of potential customers for us, and being connected into them through a dedicated networking channel like Premier is both extremely cost effective and efficient for a time starved enterprise. Frankly, were we not members of Premier it is unlikely we would have encountered the sort of businesses we now have as clients, and that is power of a cogent and consistent networking group.

Networking marketing is the only form of customer interaction we have when it comes to new business. Whilst BNI is not the only form of network marketing we do, it is the back bone, and we have adopted the idea of ‘Giver’s Gain’ as an MO for the way we do business.
